Tragedies are well known in the Paradise. Hawaii has many of them. Activ volcanoes spitting lava and destroying whole villages in minutes, Tsunamis rolling in regulary. The city of Hilo on the Big Island was rebuilt already 3 times completely because of floods waves over 14 meter. Driving through the island means finding a lot dead ends, because of lava weather old or warm is running over the roads.
Tragedies and hope are close together , once a lava field gets cold it sets the best ground for a new vegetation. Hawaiians are never tired to build up again. They are living with the dangers, and with a lot of hope. Taking not everything for granted might be a Hawaiian outlook of life.
