Iceland has more horses than inhabitants. Consequently, they have more „horse girls“ than any other nation. People, mostly female, are coming from all over the world to ride the typical breed of „Islandic horse“ in a stunning landscape located in Kjölur. Whole days in the saddle – followed by evenings in natural hot springs – end with nights in cozy cabins. A once in a lifetime dream for all of us horse girls.
